Coral 16mm: notes from the specs

👍 Pros

A 16mm+ core option. Thicker cores are generally described as softer and more control-friendly.
Elongated shape gives extra reach and leverage on serves and drives.
Wider or hybrid face options give a larger hitting area side to side.
Heavier spec (up to 8.3 oz) adds mass behind the ball.

👎 Cons

Elongated faces are narrower, so off-center hits on the sides are less forgiving.
The heavier end of the range can feel slower in fast hand battles.
Priced in AUD on the maker's site. Shipping and exchange costs for US buyers vary.
